The price of MacBook Pro M2 dropped sharply as soon as it hit shelves in Vietnam

 At the WWDC 2022 event taking place in early June, Apple introduced the MacBook Air M2 and MacBook Pro M2 duo. A month later, the MacBook Pro M2 was officially on the shelves in Vietnam market.

Referring to the FPT Shop system, MacBook Pro M2 has a listed price of VND 36 million for the 256 GB version and VND 42 million for the 512 GB version, respectively. However, as soon as it was opened for sale, this system adjusted the product price down, down to 35 million dong for the 256 GB version and 40.5 million dong for the 512 GB version.

MacBook Pro M2 does not have many changes in appearance compared to its predecessor.

"From June 17, we have opened a pre-order program for MacBook Pro M2. Besides the direct discount of 1.5 million dong, customers can also deduct an additional 500,000 dong when paying via VNPAY-QR. In addition, users also receive many other gifts with the device," said a representative of FPT Shop system.

Surveyed at other retail systems such as Mobile Viet, Hnam Mobile or Minh Tuan Mobile, the price of MacBook Pro M2 also has a lot of difference. Specifically, at Vietnam Mobile system, MacBook Pro M2 is offered for sale at a price of 32 million VND for the 256 GB version, 4 million VND lower than the listed price. The 512 GB version costs VND 37 million, VND 5 million less than the listed price.

"Up to now, more than 300 customers have left information of interest to MacBook Pro M2. In which, the 256 GB version is more interested, accounting for about 60% of registered customers," said Mr. Nguyen Ngoc. Dat, CEO of Viet Mobile system, shared.

Meanwhile, according to Mr. Nguyen Huu Phuc - Sales Manager of Minh Tuan Mobile system, the number of users ordering MacBook Pro M2 has increased by about 20% compared to its predecessor.

On the MacBook Pro M2 version, Apple promises the machine's battery life can be up to 20 hours. The device is also equipped with the same cooling system as its predecessor. This allows professional users to use the machine to perform tasks such as editing images and videos.
