Asus ROG Phone 6 launched, using Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip

 Asus has just launched a new pair of gaming smartphones called ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.



The overall appearance of ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro is almost similar and not much different from its predecessor. In particular, the Pro version is integrated with an additional screen that displays the logo and some information.

Both devices are equipped with AMOLED screens with a size of 6.78 inches, a resolution of 1,080 x 2,448 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. In addition, users can also customize the screen refresh rate to 60 Hz, 90 Hz, 120 Hz or 144 Hz depending on usage needs.


ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro use the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The standard version has up to 16 GB of RAM, while the Pro version has up to 18 GB of RAM.


Asus says the duo has upgraded the cooling system, which helps lower the CPU's temperature by up to 10 degrees Celsius during gaming. Besides, the machine also supports AirTrigger keys on the right and back, allowing users to set customizations with some supported games.


The ROG Phone 6 duo integrates a 3-camera system on the back, including a 50 MP main lens, 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens and 5 MP macro lens. The selfie camera of the device has a resolution of 12 MP.


The battery equipped with the device has a capacity of 6,000 mAh, supports 65 W fast charging. ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro are priced at 999 Euro (about 24 million VND) and 1,299 Euro (about 31 million VND), respectively. Currently, it is not clear when this duo will debut in the Vietnamese market.
